About the Author

David J. Salisbury

David has had multiple jobs in his career but has spent the majority of his years in the printing industry. In 2015, he formed a small c-corporation with two friends and his brother to malt barley and wheat for small breweries and distilleries in New York. In March of 2020, just before the US got slammed with Covid-19, he started writing a short story for his younger brother Rob to read. That short story eventually became the first book in The Orris Project, a seven-book series that David is still currently writing. After getting about thirty pages into the story, he discovered it was the beginning of something real, an actual novel. After one hundred pages he told his wife he was writing a book, much to her excitement. He realized well before finishing Origin & Earth that it would not be a novel, it would have to be a series, and so book one and two are now available and book three is written, and awaiting the editorial process.
